But Quayle was lampooned for years over the misspelling of potato.
Can anyone hear the funeral march procession of the msm? Just to keep up with the sissies in print media cartoons, I still read Doonesbury fairly often. He is currently sketching the demise of print “journalists”, such as the ones who squealed with glee over Dan Quayle’s potato episode, yet are completely silent over the dozens of Biden, Obama, Maxine Waters, etc. gaffes. It’s fun to see the smug media become skewered over an open pit, roasting slowly as they lose job after job, diminishing in importance day after day, and finally being lowered into the pit of regular experience like the rest of us.
Like the aging boomer who still tries to sport a grey-haired ponytail, ear ring, and two-fingered peace sign, these dried up crybabies will hopefully go to their grave as a disgrace to the American experience we all have to live in this world. We in the heartland of America haven’t had time to protest at rallies, or curse The Man for a system that’s rigged. We’ve been too busy paying our bills and taxes so that the leeches could live a life free of these concerns.
