McCain Camp: Madonna Is ‘Unacceptable’
From CBC News:
McCain camp calls Madonna concert segment ‘outrageous, unacceptable’
Monday, August 25, 2008
Campaign officials for U.S. Senator and Republican presidential candidate John McCain have shot back at Madonna for a segment of her just-launched new concert tour.
Madonna kicked off her Sticky and Sweet world tour at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, on Saturday. During her performance of Get Stupid, an image of McCain is shown alongside those of Adolf Hitler and Robert Mugabe, as well as photos of global warming and destruction.
Later in the concert, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama’s face is shown in a sequence that also includes images of Mahatma Gandhi, John Lennon and Al Gore.
“The comparisons are outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time,” said Tucker Bounds, a McCain campaign spokesman.
“It clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off limits.” …
What does anyone expect from one of General Wesley Clarke’s top advisors?
(And from the selfsame artiste who made a video wherein she threw a hand grenade in President Bush’s lap.)
After all, she is encouraging people to “Get Stupid.”
But it was probably a mistake for the McCain people to respond to this broken down trollop at all.

How about a “Got Stupid” campaign featuring mug shots of Madonna, Aflack, oh the list is endless of Hollywood types.
We could even have a “Got Stupid” with a bullet for the especially stupid, however, we may run out of amunition - there’s so many of them.

Has President Bush ever given his critics validity by whining about what they say about him? I never thought I’d say it, but I will miss his being in the White House.

Does Madonna even realize that Gandhi was racist against black people?
These paradigms of liberal virtue are hardly what they seem. Madonna’s comparisons are laughable.

On second thought, Madonna made a great decision to include Obama alongside images of Gandhi, though not as she intended. Both men exhibited racism in their own way. Gandhi disliked “black” people. Obama shows his animosity for white people through his former pastor of 20 years (conveniently disavowed for the campaign) and in his memoirs.

To spend one iota one second of time on this has been shows the McCain team has lost its eye on the ball, pure stupidity but expected. This is one reason you have to get drunk and vote McCain but the drunker you get the better the other guy looks…..hahahahaha…set em up Joe!
